Several spells of showers will occur in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in Galle and Matara districts. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Northern, Eastern and Uva provinces after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly strong gusty winds up to (40-50) kmph can be expected in the Hambantota district.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
