Prevailing showery conditions will enhance to some extent over the island during next two days.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western and Southern provinces and in Puttalam district. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night.
Fairy heavy showers above 75 mm may occur at some places in North-western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces.
General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
