British High Commission in Colombo, Sri Lanka says that students should apply as soon as possible the documents ready and well in advance of the course start date as UK Visas and Immigration is expecting high numbers of Student visa applications.

“UK Visas and Immigration is expecting high numbers of Student visa applications for the January 2023 intake. You should apply as soon as you have your documents ready and well in advance of your course start date” tweeted the British High Commission in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

  1. Apply up to 6 months in advance
  2. Submit your biometrics and documents at Visa Application Centre

Documents to submit:

• Current passport / travel documentation

• CAS reference number

You may also need:

• Proof of English language proficiency

• Proof of finances (to fund your course fees and maintenance)

• Proof of parental or guardian consent (for students under 18)

•Education certificates

• TB test certificate

• ATAS certificate
