Sri Lanka to use university buildings as COVID19 intermediate care centres

As the caseload is growing daily and hospitals are reaching capacity, the Sri Lankan government is considering using university buildings as COVID-19 intermediate care centres report UWN.

Meanwhile SundayTimes reports that state universities have come forward to convert their hostel facilities into intermediate treatment centres for those infected with COVID-19. Recently Peradeniya University opened one such centre.
