The total number of Coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka surpassed the 600,000 mark after 840 patients were reported. Sri Lanka has reported 600,203 COVID-19 cases out of which 569,043 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, bringing down the active patient count to 15,065. A total of 15,272 deaths have been reported from the virus.

For the third consecutive day, Sri Lanka records over 800 COVID cases again. Today caseload is the highest daily cases after 3 months. Test positivity rate is increasing and 7-day average is 9%.
