Sri Lanka government makes the Vaccination Card mandatory for public over 30-years age when entering in to public places. Accordingly, public (over 30 age) will NOT be permitted to enter public places without the Vaccination card from September 15.

Earlier, the COVID19 Task Force focused on making it mandatory for people visiting government institutions and public places in the future to have a card certifying that they have been vaccinated.

Over 96% of the total population above age 30 in Sri Lanka have been administered with at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

Sri Lanka to begin the vaccinate all the students and people aged below 30 from August end as ongoing vaccination program of above 30 age is nearing complete.
