Asiri Fernando won the Journalist of the Year Award

The Sunday Morning’s News Editor Asiri Fernando won the coveted Mervyn de Silva Journalist of the Year Award at the 23rd Edition of the Journalism Awards for Excellence held at Mount Lavinia Hotel.

The Morning’s and The Sunday Morning’s Business Editor Madusha Thavapalakumar won the Business and Finance Journalist of the Year Award for the English medium. 

Piyumi Fonseka won the Investigative Journalist of the Year award at the Journalism Awards 2021.
