Epidemiology Unit data shows, that there is a growing public interest in getting the COVID booster shot in Sri Lanka. Highest number of Covid-19 Booster vaccinations administered in a single day in Sri Lanka reported February 1 with 91,619 vaccine doses. Sri Lanka administered 58,969 Booster doses on January 31 and only 23,403 on January 30.

According to the Epidemiology Unit data, So far over 5.3 million booster doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka.

People 20 years and above who got 2nd dose COVID vaccination more than 3 months ago, now can get 3rd dose (booster dose) (Pfizer) from below mentioned places.

1) Three months past since your 2nd dose (Az, Sinopharm, Sputnik, Moderna or Pfizer)

2) 20 years and above
