Sri Lanka government has decided to end island-wide Covid lockdown on October 1, government imposed the lockdown on August 20. Despite the re-opening of the country on October 1, inter-Provincial travel restrictions will continue. According to the new health guideline issued, all non-essential travel from 10pm- 4am daily not permitted.
The quarantine curfew currently in force throughout Sri Lanka will be lifted at 4.00 am. October 01st, on the directive of the President, Head of the National Operations Center for Prevention of COVID-19 outbreak and Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said.
