Though the prices of imported milk powder has been increased, the chairman of MILCO Private Limited today said that MILCO will not rise its prices, despite the challenges they face with packaging costs and taxes.

He told the media that inported milk powder including the 400g sachets habe been increased by Rs. 100 from today.

“We do not have the capacity to fulfil the requirement of the local market,” he said.

The company will provide the maximum effort proving and promoting liquid milk to the local market other than milk powder sachets.

The companey is hoping to release sufficient stocks to the market within the next couple of weeks without increasing the prices, the Chairman added.
