The low pressure area is still persist in the vicinity of Sri Lanka. Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Northern, North-central, Eastern and Uva provinces. Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places elsewhere during the evening or night.
Heavy showers above 100 mm can be expected at some places in the Northern, North-central, North-western, Central, Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces and in Trincomalee district.
The low pressure area is still persist in the vicinity of Sri Lanka. Showery condition is expected over most parts of the island under the influence of this system. Cloudy skies can be expected over the island.
