A tuition teacher from Kalutara arrested for allegedly abusing 16 female students, remanded till May 26. The suspect is a 30-year old married person and a Math tuition master. He was arrested on May 11 after complaint made by his wife.
Also the video recordings made while the suspect was sexually assaulting the girls and further investigations will be carried out to find out the prejudiced girls by observing them says Kalutara Child and Women Abuse Prevention Bureau.
The suspected teacher has conducted classes in small groups at other locations, and further investigations are underway to determine whether the girls were also abused there or not.
The Child Protection Authority has requested the public to use the telephone number 1929 for complaints related to child abuse.
