Under the prevailing weather conditions, considering the warnings and information received from Sri Lanka Meteorology Department and the behavior of Kumbukkan Oya, there is possibility of occurring a flood in lowline areas around Kumbukkan Oya situated in Nakkala, Okkampitiya and Kumbukkana.
The public living nearby the Kumbukkan Oya in those areas are requested to take adequate precautions in this regard. The disaster Management authorities are requested to take necessary precautions in this regard.
