Weather Forecast January 22 – Fairly cold weather during early morning

Mainly dry weather will prevail over most parts of the Island. Fairly cold weather can be expected during the early morning next few days.

There is a possibility of ground frost in some places in the Nuwara-Eliya district at the early hours of the morning.  

Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-Central and Uva provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the morning. 

Department of Meteorology – Sri Lanka say that over 29 c̊ temperature can be expected at most places. Anuradhapura 32, Batticaloa 29, Colombo 33, Galle 32, Jaffna 29, Kandy 30, Ratnapura 34, Trincomalee 29 and Mannar 31 c̊ .
