Bus fares for passengers on expressways will be slashed by 10% with effect from midnight today (Jan 04), Minister of Transport & Highways Bandula Gunawardena says.
The expressway bus fare revision comes a day after the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CEYPETCO) and Lanka IOC reduced the price of auto diesel by Rs. 15 per litre.
Following the price cut, a litre of auto diesel is now priced at Rs. 405.
