Social activists Anuruddha Bandara and Danish Ali have been summoned to appear before the Police Criminal Investigation Department CID in Colombo on the morning of December 27 saying that they are going to get a statement regarding the burning of President Ranil Wickramasinghe’s residence.
On July 9th, rioters broke into President Ranil Wickremesinghe’s private residence at 5th Lane Colombo during a protest and set fire to the official residence and damaged other properties.
