All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama, representing the Sri Lankan Muslim community, sends heartfelt greetings on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha 1444 Hijri. The organization conveys its wishes for a joyous and blessed celebration to all Sri Lankan Muslims.

Greetings from the President, General Secretary, Treasurer, Executive Committee Members and Staff of All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama on Eid-ul-Adha 1444 Hijri!

All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama is pleased to wish all Sri Lankan Muslims a very happy Eid-ul-Adha.

Almighty Allah has blessed us with this day as a reminder of the sacrifices of Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) and His wife and Child, Prophet Ismail (PBUH). The sacrifices of this family is a great example for the entire community. Through this, Islam teaches us that success in life can be achieved through sacrifices. Furthermore, it is through the sacrifices of individuals, families and communities that a country could achieve a successful future.

On this precious day, we should come forward to perform Uldhiyya and other acts in accordance with the teachings of Islam, which commemorates the noble sacrifice of the father and son who were committed to fulfil the command of Almighty Allah.

Similarly, one should acquire the lessons taught through these incidents, such as obeying Almighty Allah’s commandments, devotion, sacrifices, patience, piety, exemplary, good parenting and nurture such noble characteristics amongst ourselves and our families in order to succeed in this world and Hereafter.

All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulama prays that Almighty Allah m help peace and unity blossom in our country and globally.

On this special day, we pray that Almighty Allah blesses our country and the world with lasting peace and unity.

Thakabbal Allahu Minna Waminkum! (May Allah Accept from you and us)

Eid Mubarak!
