Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) says that the gross official reserves were estimated at USD 1.9 billion as of end 2022, including the swap facility from People’s Bank of China, equivalent to around USD 1.4 billion.
Official reserve assets of Sri Lanka at the end of December 2022 were at USD 1,896 million.
This was an increase of 5% from the official reserve assets figure of USD 1,806 million in November 2022.
