Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation Sumith Wijesinghe said the amount of fuel released to vehicles from petrol stations has been restricted again.

A maximum of Rs. 2,000 worth fuel will be released for a motorcycle at one visit, Rs. 3,000 for a three-wheeler and Rs. 8,000 for a car, van or jeep. This fuel maximum does not apply to buses, lorries and commercial vehicles, the official said.
