Sri Lanka confirms 52 more Covid deaths on July 23 as toll rises to 4054

52 deaths reported due to COVID-19 within 24-hours, stated the Department of Government Information. The Director General of Health Services confirmed that 52 deaths occurred on July 23 due to the COVID.

Among the dead are 26 males and 26 females. The majority of the deaths numbering 39 is of the people in the 60 years and above age group. According to the data reported by the Government Information Department, the total deaths due to Covid-19 since the pandemic began last March has now risen to 4054.
