515,830 COVID vaccine doses administered in Sri Lanka yesterday July 29, the highest number within a day says State Minister Prof Channa Jayasumana.
According to COVID19 Vaccine rollout tracking, Over 8.7 million first doses of the coronavirus vaccines have been administered in Sri Lanka. Over 76% of the total population above age 30 in Sri Lanka have been administered with at least the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, according to data released. As of now over 17% of the country’s population above the age 30 has received the 2nd dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. The second highest number of vaccines per day of 437,878 administered on July 26.
