After the cabinet meeting, an opportunity has given to the teachers and principals trade unions to discuss their issues with Education Minister on July 27. Teachers and Principals islandwide launched a strike action on July 12 and the trade union action enter to the 14th day. Government requests to all the teachers and principal trade unions to give up their ongoing trade union action and continue with the online teaching activities.
