Maligawatte Police arrested a woman today for not appearing in a case pending at the Magistrate’s Court in Aluthkade for breach of peace during a protest held in Galle Face area on May 9.
The arrested woman is a 46-year-old social media activist residing in Dematagoda area.
The suspect is scheduled to be presented to the Aluthkade Court on June 15. Maligawatta police are conducting further investigations.
