During a discussion, the “Pohottuwa” Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) has requested President Ranil Wickremesinghe to facilitate a safe return of former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to Sri Lanka.
Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who fled the country last month and currently staying in Thailand will return to the island on the 24th of this month, said former Ambassador to Russia and Rajapaksa relative Udayanga Weeratunga recently.
