Sri Lanka government has taken measures to establish a Presidential Task Force to prevent the use of toxic and dangerous drugs.
Recently, police in a raid carried out in the Western Province covering 122 schools, arrested 75 people for selling drugs.
Education Minister Susil Premajayantha said that 81 school students addicted to ICE drugs have been sent to rehabilitation last month. The minister said that a special program will be launched together with the police to remove drugs from the school system.
