President Gotabaya Rajapaksa to open Port City Colombo promenade to the public today. Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi has arrived to Sri Lanka and he will also participate for the opening ceremony. Wang Yi is scheduled to meet President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa this morning.
After the opening public can reach to Port City promenade by walking across Galle Face Green towards the newly constructed welded Footbridge and walking along the 2 km stretch of beach belonging to the newly reclaimed land.
