A video which shows a traffic Policeman was assaulting two youths travelling on a motorcycle circulates via social media. The attack was said to have happened in Eravur.
Eravur police says an inquiry is being conducting over the incident.
Cabinet Minister of Public Security Sarath Weerasekara has reportedly told Parliamentarian Rasamanickam R.Shanakiyan that legal action will be taken against the traffic policeman.
