Pfizer vaccine for students going overseas for higher education and fishermen in Mannar

Sri Lanka government has decided to administer Pfizer-BionTech COVID-19 vaccine for students going overseas for higher education. As several countries not accepted the Sinopharm vaccine, students those who are leaving such countries can register via National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO): https://alt.army.lk/covid19/ website or here and request the Pfizer. Remaining Pfizer vaccines will be administered for fishermen in Mannar area says Army Commander General Shavendra Silva, the Head of the National Operations Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak (NOCPCO).

Recently, Sri Lanka suspended administering Pfizer vaccine as the second dose for Oxford-AstraZeneca as stock of AstraZeneca to receive 3rd week of July.
