According to the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) the fuel supply would be returned to normal by Monday. CPC has requested all owners of petroleum bowsers to send their vehicles to relevant terminals and depots to streamline the distribution process.
A vessel carrying 37,500 metric tons of petrol arrived to Sri Lanka. Also CPC says a vessel carrying 41,000 metric tons of diesel arrived and started being unloaded.
