Patients with severe allergic reactions to drugs in ICUs at several hospitals: MCPA

Patients who had developed severe allergic reactions to the controversial drugs have been admitted to the Intensive Care Units (ICU) at the Kandy, Peradeniya and Anuradhapura Hospitals, Medical and Civil Rights Professional Association (MCPA) President Dr. Chamal Sanjeewa said.

He said more complications related to the controversial drugs are being reported.

“Patients have been admitted to the Intensive Care Units (ICU) at the Kandy, Peradeniya and Anuradhapura Hospitals with severe allergic reactions to the drug,” he said.
