Social media activist Pathum Kerner arrested by Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) over the unruly incidents at the entry road to Parliament near Polduwa Junction on July 13.

Last few days police arrested several activists including Anthony Veranga Pushpika and Dhaniz Ali.
Police arrested activist Anthony Weranga Pushpika’s on July 27 for engaging in protests in violation of a court orders and causing damage to state properties. On July 26, police arrested Dhaniz Ali while trying to leave for Dubai on a flight from the BIA.
Inter University Students’ Federation demands government to immediately release all arrested activists.
