Examination Department and Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) has announced that the authentication process for General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level (GCE O/L) and Advanced Level (A/L) examination certificates will be conducted online, beginning on August 7, 2023. This innovative step is applicable to all examination certificates issued from the year 2001 onwards.

Applicants seeking authentication of their GCE O/L and A/L examination certificates will now be able to complete the process digitally, eliminating the need for physical submissions and in-person visits to Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).

Under the new system, applicants can conveniently access the authentication service through the official website of the Examination Department Website link. The online platform will guide them through the authentication process step-by-step, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience with SMS updates.

One of the significant changes introduced is that applicants will be issued digital copies to email address of their authenticated certificates instead of traditional hard copies. These digital certificates will carry the official seal of the Ministry, ensuring their authenticity and recognition by foreign entities and institutions.
