A special program launched to recruit 3000 students /apprentices for NVQ-3 short-term courses by the National Apprenticeship and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) in January 2023.
The aim of this program is to recruit unemployed youths for training covering all 25 districts of the island and guide them to local and foreign job opportunities by developing their skills.
10 courses selected as Field Assistant (Agricultural), Nursing / Caregiver, Aluminum Fabricator, Car Service and Interior Cleaner, Plumber, Electrician (Domestic), Welder, Solar Heater Installer, Mobile Phone Repair Technician and Canteen Worker are included in this training program.
The specialty of this training is that firstly a center-based training is given, followed by an assessment in a recognized government or private sector organization / industry and the award of the NVQ certificate.
Apprentices enrolled in the training also receive benefits such as travel expenses, life skills and leadership training and training in industry/real workplace environments.
In the coming year 2023, NAITA institute is inviting the student to come together to make the future a reality through the “Special Program to Enroll 3000 Apprentices for NVQ-3 Short Term Courses”.
