A new coalition called “Nidahasa Janatha Sandhanaya”, has been formed by Sri Lanka Freedom Party SLFP led by Former President Maitripala Sirisena, Dullas Alahapperuma, Wimal Weerawansa, Anura Yapa and several more political factions.
