Nenasa TV, a Public-Private-Partnership with the Ministry of Education has agreed to launch two new channels. Increasing the number of “Nenasa” educational television channels to continue the learning-teaching process of the education system in the face of the Covid-19 pandemic.
From 2018, Dialog has implemented a project called “Nenasa” using satellite technology through two dedicated Sinhala and Tamil medium education channels. Under the program, Dialog has provided televisions and Dialog connections to nearly 2,200 schools
for free of charge.
Dialog has agreed to launch the “Nenasa” project on four channels, including two new channels, from 07th September, 2021 and to increase the total number of channels to 10 by 01st January, 2022 in order to continue the learning-teaching process in the education system in the face of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Accordingly, it has been decided to give the consent of the Cabinet of Ministers to implement the said project.
Nenasa TV, a Public-Private-Partnership with the Ministry of Education is an initiative intended to support grade 10 and 11 students preparing for the General Certificate of Education (G.C.E.) Ordinary Level (O/L) through two dedicated TV channels Nenasa 10 and Nenasa 11.
