Media Minister Dr. Nalaka Godahewa has been appointed as Cabinet Spokesperson. Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera and Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pathirana has been appointed as joint co-Cabinet Spokespersons.
Recently Minister Nalaka Godahewa backed demonstrators asking Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa to step down. He said, “We need to restore political stability to successfully meet the economic crisis.”
Earlier Dullas Alahapperuma was the Cabinet Spokesman.
