The government has decided to provide Muriate of Potash (MOP) fertilizer to farmers free of charge for the upcoming Maha cultivation season.
Accordingly, the prescribed amount of MOP fertiliser will be provided free to all farmers for the upcoming season, Minister of Agriculture, Mahinda Amaraweera said.
