Man died after coconut tree falls on him while he was chopping down a jackfruit tree. According to the police, the incident was happened while the person cutting down the Jackfruit tree. The jackfruit tree fell on a nearby coconut tree and later a coconut tree fell on the person’s head.
The incident happened in Pallewela Balangoda area on July 10th. The deceased was a 45-year-old victim of the Balangoda area and the body is kept at the Balangoda Hospital. Further investigations are underway.
