Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa visited the ITC Ratnadipa premises, situated opposite Galle Face Green, this evening to personally inspect the ongoing construction and the work completed thus far for the highly anticipated Grand ITC Hotel. The ground-breaking ceremony for this prestigious project was initiated under the leadership of Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in 2014.
Having played a pivotal role in laying the foundation for the Grand ITC Hotel, Rajapaksa’s inspection underscores the importance of the project in shaping Colombo’s landscape. With construction nearing completion in the coming months, the hotel is poised to become a landmark in the city, attracting visitors and contributing to the economic development of the region.
