The call for applications to appear for the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination is currently being conducted from February 1, 2023 to February 28, only through the online system.
It will not be possible to apply for this examination after 12 midnight on 28 February 2023. It is emphasized that the online entry will be closed after midnight on that day and the date of acceptance of applications will not be changed for any reason.
Therefore, it is mandatory to send applications before the last date.

All school candidates can submit their applications through their schools’ principals, and private candidates can submit their applications online by themselves.
Candidates can reach the Examinations Department’s official website: www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic or use the department’s official mobile application, “Exams SRILANKA”.
A printed copy of the application should be kept with the candidate so they can produce it whenever needed.
Commissioner General of Examinations Department says that the 2022 O/L exam is planned to held May month. 2022 O/L Exam subjects and the relevant timetable with dates have NOT been released so far. The time table will release to examination department official www.doenets.lk website later.
