Sri Lanka Health Ministry official website health.gov.lk is reportedly hacked by a group identifying itself as the ‘Tamil Eelam Cyber Force’. Currently the website is down. The homepage displayed “Hacked by Tamil Eelam Cyber Force”.
Recently several websites affected due to #OpSriLanka cyber attack series launched by Anonymous,’ a Hacktivist group. Sri Lanka Police official website was also targeted by the group.
Accordingly http://gov.lk, http://police.gov.lk, http://ratnapura.mc.gov.lk, http://Immigration.gov.lk and a number of other websites were targeted during past few days. Most of the attacks were denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks. (LankaXpress.com)
