COVID19 patient count surpasses 500,000 in Sri Lanka

The total number of Coronavirus cases in Sri Lanka surpassed the 500,000 mark after 2070 patients were reported. Sri Lanka has reported 500,772 COVID-19 cases out of which 429,776 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, bringing down the active patient count to 59,058. A total of 11,938 deaths have been reported from the virus.

Sri Lanka is now the 56th country to cross the 500,000 COVID cases mark.

Sri Lanka today (September 17th) records the lowest single-day coronavirus cases after 50 days as only 2070 COVID cases reported.
