The administering of the Pfizer vaccines for children with co-morbidities / disabilities or chronic illnesses in the 12 -19 years age group begins from today at Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital Colombo & Teaching Hospitals at Anuradhapura and Kurunegala.
Sri Lanka begins vaccination 12-19 years congenital children and children suffering from chronic disease from September 24 at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children (LRH), Colombo.

The Registration for Pfizer is only open for children between 12-19 years of age and with specific co-morbidities. Please click here for eligible conditions for vaccination.
You need to bring all the medical records of the child. They will be assessed by a Consultant Paediatrician before deciding whether vaccine would be given or not. Therefore registering for vaccination does NOT guarantee that the vaccine will be given.
