13 suspects arrested over attacking Parliamentarians houses in Sri Lanka

So far about 13 suspects arrested over attacking politicians houses during May 9th unrest.

4 suspects including a monk arrested on charges of attacking and causing damages to the Houses of former MPs S.M. Chandrasena, Channa Jayasumana & former State Minister Duminda Dissanayake in Anuradhapura.

Meanwhile another 5 suspects arrested for attacking & damaging houses and property of Minister Prasanna Ranatunga and several PS members. Suspects remanded until May 18.

Another 4 suspects arrested for attacking & damaging office of former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage.

According to UWN, anti-government protesters set on fire and damaged the residences and offices of at least 100 politicians, including over 30 parliamentarians. More than 80 vehicles including buses which transported pro-government protesters were either set on fire or damaged.
