Sri Lanka government makes the Vaccination Card mandatory for public when entering in to public places. Accordingly, public will NOT be permitted to enter public places without having the proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID19 from April 30.

“A person shall not enter any public place without having the proof of being fully vaccinated against the (COVID – 19) unless exempted by the Proper Authority in respect of the whole of Sri Lanka.
For the purposes of this regulation “fully vaccinated ” means that the relevant person has obtained the required doses of the relevant vaccination as specified by the Director – General of Health Services.

The provisions of this regulations shall come into operation on April 30, 2022.

“public place” means any place or a mode of transportation used in public transport to which the public have
access, whether as of right or otherwise, whether on payment or not, whether on invitation or not.” ;
