U.S. Travel Advisory for Sri Lanka Remains at Level 2

The U.S. Embassy in Colombo clarified that the U.S. Department of State’s Travel Advisory for Sri Lanka, updated on October 9, remains at Level 2 – Exercise Increased Caution. According to Ambassador Julie Chung, there was no change to the advisory level, though an additional risk indicator was added and the advisory summary was updated to help U.S. citizens make informed travel decisions.
