Sri Lanka President Ranil Wickremesinghe has announced that the State of Emergency will not be extended beyond this week.
President expressed the confidence that Emergency Regulations will be lifted by the end of this week as country is coming back to stable situation.
A state of public emergency has been declared in Sri Lanka from July 18 under section 2 of the Public Security Ordinance and later Parliament passed it.
