According to Institute for Health Policy IHP data, Sri Lanka’s “Test Positivity Rate” is increasing further. Test positivity (using PCR tests) shows as 17.3% while seven day average shows as 18%. In July first week the rate was about 10%. Seven day average of PCR tests indicate as about 17,000. According to the data reported by the IHP, this is the highest Test Positivity Rate since the pandemic began last March.
