Central Bank CBSL Governor tells CNN “We have a clear program & a clear path & if we follow this path, I am confident that Sri Lanka can come out from this severe economic crisis within 05 months …until then it will be a difficult time & the public needs to be patient, however, there is light at the end of the tunnel”.
He further says that the foreign reserves in the country is sufficient for the import of Gas and fuel for the next couple of weeks.
He also stressed the importance of educating the public about the country’s economic situation and urge them to exercise restraint.
