Norochcholai Power Plant Down

Ceylon Electricity Board CEB informs of a technical breakdown in one of the 270 MW power plants at Norochcholai. Repair work has commenced & reconnection assured within 5 days, without further extensions to power cuts by using thermal & hydro plants.
